I like to think of myself as a fairly creative thinker but even still, I have a hard time imagining having the life I had in New York without you.

You have pushed me to be a bolder and braver version of myself. You have taught me more about fashion history and theatre lore than I ever expected to learn. I have had glamorous nights dressed to the 9's and cozy evenings while in 6's and 7's with you. I left New York a gayer man—in both senses of the word—because of you. Yes, I have an NYC Pride and substantial knowledge of camp under my belt now, but more importantly, I also have a wealth of incredible memories that continue to make me happy.

It was a privilege and a riot living with you—and a constant gift to be your friend. Thank you, Raissa.
